4 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Kyle Higashioka is the team's starting catcher for the second game of the series against the Chicago White Sox. Gary Sanchez, who was behind the plate for three of the last four games, takes a seat on the bench with Gerrit Cole on the mound. Higashioka started to win some playing time with his bat in April, though he has since cooled off to the tune of a .115 batting average and .503 OPS. He's batting ninth against White Sox righty Dylan Cease.--Tim Capurso
