4 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto (thumb) was spotted taking grounders at first base with a glove on Saturday. Votto fractured his thumb about two weeks ago when he was hit by a pitch and has been on the injured list ever since. Votto's ability to take grounders with a glove is a good sign as he had been limited to running the bases and fielding grounders without a glove up until this point. Votto still has a way to go before he can return to the lineup but at least he's making progress.--Matt T - RotoBaller
