4 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. struck out seven batters in five innings of work on Saturday, but did not factor into the decision in an 8-4 loss to the Rangers. McCullers allowed three runs on six hits and four walks, as he recorded his sixth straight start where he allowed three or fewer runs. He is now 3-1 with a 2.96 ERA over nine starts this year, with 59 strikeouts in 51 2/3 innings of work. He continues to be one of the better pitchers in fantasy this year.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
