4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes (wrist) went 1-for-2 during a rehab outing for Triple-A Indianapolis, accruing a hit while striking out once. The 24-year-old hasn't played since the start of the 2021 campaign but his presence in the lineup on Saturday is a step in the right direction. Hayes finished the shortened 2020 season with a .376 average throughout 95 plate appearances. Fantasy managers in deeper formats with room to spare can certainly keep him stashed for his eventual return, which could come sometime in June.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
