Matt Barnes Saves Eleventh Game
3 years agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Matt Barnes saved his 11th game of the season Sunday against the Phillies, allowing a hit and a walk in one inning of work while striking out two. For the year, Barnes has a 2.42 ERA and .63 WHIP, and has struck out a whopping 40 batters in just 22 1/3 innings. On a team that wins as much as the Red Sox, Barnes is in position to have an elite fantasy season.
