4 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey is out of the lineup on Sunday for the finale with the Dodgers. There's no cause for alarm, as this is just a continuation of the Giants' pattern of not allowing him to play three games in a row. Posey has been having a resurgence at the plate this season, slashing .355/.430/.645 with nine home runs, 17 RBI and 22 runs scored over 30 games. Look for him to return to action on Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, but in the meantime Curt Casali will start Sunday's matchup behind the plate and bat seventh against Julio Urias and the Dodgers.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
