Trevor Story Walks It Off On Sunday
3 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in a 4-3 win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday. Story played the hero when he walked the game off with a solo home run, his fifth of the year, in the bottom of the ninth inning. He deposited a Stefan Crichton offering over the wall in center field. He also put the Rockies on the board in the bottom of the first inning with an RBI single. The long ball was Story's first since May 2 and he's now slashing .262/.328/.442 with five home runs, 23 RBI, and seven stolen bases over 172 at-bats. Fantasy managers that spent a first or second-round pick on Story may be underwhelmed by his stats but perhaps the walk-off will spark a hot streak.
