Josh Fuentes Smacks A Pair Of Doubles In Sunday's Win
3 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Josh Fuentes went 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI in a 4-3 win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday. The 28-year-old smacked an RBI double off of Caleb Smith to score Charlie Blackmon in the bottom of the fifth inning. He hit another double earlier in the contest as well. The return of Brendan Rodgers has created a bit of a log jam in the Rockies' infield. Fuentes didn't appear in two games earlier this week with Ryan McMahon covering third and Rodgers playing second but he started the last two contests. A timeshare between Rodgers, Fuentes, and Garrett Hampson seems likely and that should put a damper on all of their fantasy values. On the season, Fuentes is slashing .269/.283/.440 with four home runs and 25 RBI over 134 at-bats.
