4 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried looked sharp against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. He gave up a run early in the first inning, but settled in after that. Fried pitched seven innings, allowing one run, four hits, three walks, and two strikeouts. The young lefty was efficient and only needed 87 pitches during his stellar outing versus Pittsburgh. This marks the fourth start in a row that Fried has allowed just one run. He is in line to make his next start against the New York Mets. On paper, the Mets are a strong opponent, but have been dealing with some injuries. Fried is looking like a valuable fantasy asset right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
