No Timeline On Michael Conforto's Return
4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto (hamstring), currently on the 10-day injured list, is considered "week-to-week" according to manager Luis Rojas. Conforto suffered the injury on May 16 in a game against the Rays. To date, the Mets have yet to provide any clarity on the grade or severity of the hamstring strain. As a result, there is no real timeline for Conforto's return. Prior to the injury, Conforto was hitting just .230/.356/.336 with only two home runs and 13 RBI in 33 games this year. To the frustration of fantasy managers that have Conforto rostered, it remains to be seen how long he will be sidelined. The fact that the Mets have been unwilling to provide any status on the severity of the injury certainly gives some cause for concern that it could be a long absence for Conforto.
