4 years agoOakland Athletics pitching prospect A.J. Puk (biceps) lasted just two-thirds of an inning in a rehab game with Triple-A Las Vegas. Puk served up a home run that was one of four hits allowed by the left-hander, who is trying to work his way back from his latest arm injury. Puk is the No. 2 prospect in the A's system, but he has been unable to stay on the field. He missed all of 2018 and most of 2019 after Tommy John surgery and didn't pitch in 2020 with a shoulder issue. He threw 3 1/3 innings for the A's earlier in the season before going down with a biceps strain. He remains an interesting prospect in dynasty leagues, but redraft managers can leave Puk on waivers until he shows something at the MLB level.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
