4 years agoNow with losses in four of his last five bouts, Cody Garbrandt (12-4) will need to go back to the drawing board if he wants to compete for the title again among this rising group of young and tough bantamweights. Losing a decision to Rob Font on Saturday, Font will now shoot up to title contention, while Garbrandt will need to redefine himself. Statistically, Garbrandt landed only 63 significant strikes compared to Font's 176. In the takedown department, Garbrandt could only land three of his 10 tries. Hopefully, Garbrandt can make a return to his old ways. If not, this may be the last we see of Garbrandt competing with the top-tier fighters.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
