4 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Mitch Moreland (rib) is not expected to come off the injured list when first eligible. He has resumed baseball activities and is doing well, but isn't quite ready yet. The veteran left-handed bat is working his way back from an inflamed costochondral junction of his left rib. He was not exactly hitting well before landing on the injured list. He'll likely be a low-end deep league option once he's cleared to return to the field.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
