4 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Ryan McMahon went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a 3-2 win over the Mets on Monday. McMahon crushed a David Peterson slider over the wall in right-center field to put the Rockies on the board in the top of the second inning. He would draw a walk later in the game as well. He's now hit three homers over the last four games and is up to 12 home runs and 30 RBI on the season to go along with a solid .258/.307/.517 batting line over 178 at-bats. He's performed better at home (.287/.327/.584 with eight home runs) than he has on the road (.221/.282/.429 with four home runs) but that's to be expected with the Coors Field bump.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
