4 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (wrist) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. Cruz was able to appear in Monday's game as a pinch hitter, leading to the belief that he would be able to return to action the following day, though that won't be the case. The Twins haven't yet provided word on if he aggravated the injury Monday. Max Kepler will serve as the designated hitter in Cruz's absence, with Alex Kirilloff occupying the latter's number-three spot in the lineup Tuesday.--Tim Capurso
