4 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dean Kremer was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday. Kremer struggled this season for Baltimore, pitching to a 6.87 ERA, including three straight starts with a home run allowed. The 25-year-old has shown flashes of strong play in the majors, pitching to a 2.76 FIP last season with 10.6 strikeouts per nine innings. Given the Orioles' pitching struggles, it wouldn't be surprising if Kremer got the call back at some point this season, though fantasy managers can largely ignore him, given his risk.--Tim Capurso
