4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher James Kaprielian continued to prove he deserves a permanent spot in the A's rotation by tossing seven shutout innings on Wednesday. Kaprielian only struck out four, but was in control all afternoon as he allowed just two hits and two walks against a punchless Mariners offense. The former Yankees' prospect has made three starts for Oakland this season and is 2-0 with a 1.53 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and 19 strikeouts across 17 2/3 innings. He'll get a rematch with these Mariners on Monday. Fantasy managers that missed the boat on this start should get on board and add Kaprielian for that matchup.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
