3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Shane Bieber went seven innings pitched allowing one run on one hit and four walks while striking out 12 in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Detroit Tigers. Bieber was flirting with a no-hitter until the seventh inning when he allowed a solo shot to Jonathan Schoop. It was nice to see Bieber get back on track in this one as he had not struck out double-digit batters in his previous four starts. He will carry a 3.13 ERA and 110 strikeouts across 72 innings pitched into his next start against the White Sox next week.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
