4 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Jeff Hoffman (shoulder) was recently placed on the 10-day injured list. However, Reds manager David Bell did mention on Thursday that Hoffman will not require surgery on his shoulder. Sadly, the shoulder issue is likely going to keep the young right-hander sidelined for a while. The former top prospect has struggled in Cincinnati. He is posting a 4.31 ERA, 39/22 K/BB ratio and 1.46 WHIP through nine starts. Fantasy managers can feel comfortable dropping Hoffman for someone else.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
