4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Estevan Florial was optioned back to the minors following the second game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Toronto Blue Jays. Florial went 1-for-3 with a double in the contest. With Giancarlo Stanton (quad) expected to come off the injured list on Friday, Florial was likely sent down to make room for him. Still, the 23-year-old might be back in the major leagues at some point this season, given the nature of the Yankees' outfield. Dynasty managers shouldn't fret, as Florial will get his opportunities down the road.--Tim Capurso
