4 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman (illness) is with the team in Detroit for their series against the Tigers. There was some doubt about whether Chapman, who is dealing with a non-COVID-related illness, would be able to make the trip to Detroit, though manager Aaron Boone said he's doing well. The veteran reliever was on the field getting in pregame work with the rest of the Yankees' relievers, seemingly indicating that he'd be available if a save situation were to arise in Friday's game. That would be good news for fantasy managers, as Chapman has been one of the best closers in fantasy baseball this season.--Tim Capurso
