4 years agoHouston Astros catcher Jason Castro (Achilles) has been placed on the 10-day injured list, retroactive May 25. The veteran backstop has played surprisingly well for Houston this season. Castro was hitting .271/.397/.479 with two homers and eight RBI before landing on the injured list. Garrett Stubbs has been recalled from the minors in a corresponding move. He is expected to get a majority of the starts behind the plate, while Castro is sidelined. However, Stubbs has struggled during his time in the MLB, so fantasy managers can ignore him right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
