3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Trevor Larnach delivered an RBI single in Friday's 8-3 loss to the Kansas City Royals Friday. Larnach stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the seventh inning as a pinch hitter and delivered an RBI single with the bases loaded. The 24-year-old has recorded four hits in as many contests, including a home run. Small sample size aside, Larnach has put together an impressive Statcast profile, highlighted by his 17.1 percent barrel rate and .496 expected slugging percentage, marks that suggest he can be a contributor at the major league level, despite the Twins' crowded outfield situation.--Tim Capurso
