Ian Happ Drives In Two Vs. Reds
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a walk in a 10-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday. Happ's two-run single in the eighth inning brought both Kris Bryant and Javier Baez around to score, giving the Cubs a pair of insurance runs. The two-RBI day raises Happ's average to .209 with six homers, 17 runs, 14 RBI, and a steal across 134 at-bats. Happ is starting to show some signs of life after a slow start to the year, hitting .309 with five homers over his past 14 games. While Happ is not helping much in the batting average department, his bat has 30-homer upside if he can stay hot at the plate.
