3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez stayed hot by launching his eighth homer of the season in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Indians on Sunday. The slugger went 1-for-4 in the first game of the doubleheader, taking starter Aaron Civale deep in the fourth inning for his third homer over the last week. Hernandez's hot streak dates back to the beginning of May with a .343 BA, six homers, 21 RBI, and four steals for good measure. He's also cut his K-rate down to a career-low 22.3% so far this year, proving his 2020 breakout was no fluke.
