4 years agoBaltimore Orioles prospect Adley Rutschman was an offensive force during a doubleheader on Sunday. The 23-year-old catcher went a combined 5-for-6 with a walk and two home runs. Rutschman was batting just .211 on May 22 but he has since gone 10-for-18 over a six-game stretch to spike his average to .293. He also has a massive 22% walk rate and has seen his strikeout rate drop to 20%. The first overall selection in the 2019 amateur draft now has a 186 wRC+ through 22 games. With Baltimore in the midst of a rebuild and currently in last place in the American League East, it's unlikely that he'll arrive at the MLB level until 2022.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
