3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino is slated to begin a rehab assignment on Sunday. The 27-year-old will either pitch for Double-A Somerset or Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, per manager Aaron Boone. Severino, who last pitched in 2019, touched 97 MPH on the radar gun in a recent three-inning sim game, as he's poised to return sometime around the All-Star break. He posted an ERA below 3.50 with at least a 28 percent strikeout rate in each of his last two full seasons, giving fantasy managers reason to stash him.--Tim Capurso
