3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson (forearm) could be activated off the injured list as early as Friday. The 31-year-old righty has been sidelined since the middle of May due to inflammation in his forearm. Nelson was able to face live hitters on Tuesday without any issues. He is scheduled to travel with the team for their weekend series, so that's a sign that he could pitch soon. Nelson was playing well in a small sample size this season, so he could be a benefit to deep league fantasy managers and possibly some standard league players as well.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
