3 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. kept his terrific season going on Tuesday, blasting his league-leading 17th homer in the team's 5-1 win over the Marlins. His three-run shot off Sandy Alcantara in the third inning was all the offense needed in the contest, but the 22-year old finished the game going 4-for-4 for good measure. He added a double and two singles to increase his batting average to a spectacular .337, which also leads the league, and his 45 RBI now place him second behind Jose Abreu's 46.
