3 years agoChicago Cubs corner infielder/outfielder Kris Bryant will not be in Wednesday's lineup versus the San Diego Padres. Bryant has been off to a MVP caliber season and is hitting .317 with 12 home runs, 36 RBI and three stolen bases. Bryant will be replaced at third base by Patrick Wisdom. Wisdom has been on absolute fire during his first eight games of the year and is hitting .474 with four home runs and five RBI. Wisdom is worth a look with his scorching hot bat versus Dinelson Lamet. Bryant should be expected to return to the lineup on Thursday versus the San Francisco Giants.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
