3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham (heel) was taking batting practice on the field ahead of his team's scheduled contest against the Chicago Cubs Tuesday. It's Grisham's first time facing live pitching since May 21. The speedy outfielder was initially slated to return on Tuesday, though he technically isn't eligible to come off the injured list until Friday. Grisham could take part in a short rehab assignment, though fantasy managers should expect him back in their lineups on Friday regardless. Grisham's 88th-percentile sprint speed and 74th-percentile average exit velocity should allow him to be a threat in both the home run and stolen base departments the rest of the way.--Tim Capurso
