3 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Urshela and the Yankees struck quickly in the first inning, as he sent the first pitch he saw over the right-field seats at an exit velocity of 103.4 MPH. After an 0-for-12, Urshela suddenly has three hits in his last two games. His .268 expected batting average and .480 expected slugging percentage suggest that he should remain a strong late-round option at the third base position.--Tim Capurso
