3 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Andrew Vaughn has been placed on the COVID-19 injured list. It sounds like Vaughn is asymptomatic, but there is no timetable for his return. He can get back into the lineup whenever he's cleared to play. In the meantime, Gavin Sheets has been recalled from the minors to take his spot on the roster. The 25-year-old has 11 homers in the minors this season, but is on the bench for Thursday's contest. He could possibly be a streaming choice whenever he gets into the starting lineup.
