3 years agoNew York Yankees infielder/outfielder Miguel Andujar stayed hot at the plate in Thursday's loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. Andujar went 1-for-3 with a solo home run for his third long ball in four games. The blast left his bat at an exit velocity of 110.2 MPH and traveled 405 feet. The 26-year-old is starting to resemble the breakout hitter from 2018, though his plate discipline, career-worst strikeout and walk rates, leaves a bit to be desired. Andujar seems to be close to an everyday role in the outfield for New York, which should give him plenty of chances to prove his worth with the bat moving forward.--Tim Capurso
