3 years agoHouston Astros relief pitcher Kent Emanuel (elbow) underwent season-ending surgery on Thursday. The southpaw has been dealing with elbow discomfort, and although the injury didn't appear serious, at least initially, a recent trip for a second opinion sealed his fate. The 28-year-old didn't offer much from a fantasy perspective, prematurely finishing the 2021 campaign with a 2.55 ERA and 13 strikeouts throughout just 17 innings of work.
