Garrett Hampson Reaches Four Times On Thursday
3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Garrett Hampson went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored, and an RBI in an 11-6 win over the Rangers on Thursday. This was Hampson's first four-hit game of the year, in fact, this was the first time he's knocked more than two hits in a game all season. He's notched back-to-back multi-hit performances but is still slashing an underwhelming .245/.305/.435 across 184 at-bats this season. He does have five home runs and 11 stolen bases to go along with that but he hasn't been getting on base consistently enough this season. He's worth rostering in fantasy leagues due to his stolen base upside but the return of Brendan Rodgers has left him as the odd man out of the lineup a handful of times over the last week.
