3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Kolten Wong (oblique) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Friday due to a strained left oblique suffered in a game on Thursday against the Diamondbacks. Wong has been dealing with oblique discomfort for most of the 2021 season. Despite dealing with such discomfort, Wong has posted an impressive .280/.343/.441 slash line with four home runs and 15 RBI over 44 games this season. Luis Urias should now see more time at second base while Wong is absent with Willy Adames slotting in as the regular shortstop in Milwaukee. Hopefully, Wong's injury is not serious and he spends the minimum amount of time on the IL and returns in short order.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
