3 years agoNew York Mets infielder Jeff McNeil (hamstring) is likely a week or two away from beginning a rehab assignment, according to manager Luis Rojas. He was originally given a timetable of mid-June, but could return a little bit ahead of schedule. McNeil is expected to play a handful of games in the minors before returning to the Mets roster. The organization could certainly use the help with everyone seemingly injured. The Mets will continue to mix-and-match until McNeil is available to return.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
