3 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Chad Green was charged with his fourth loss of the season in Saturday's 7-3 defeat to the Boston Red Sox. Green allowed four runs on four hits in just 2/3 of an inning. The veteran reliever allowed a leadoff single, then appeared to turn things around by getting two quick outs. Green surrendered each of the runs on extra-base hits in what was his worst performance of the season. His ERA still stands at a respectable 3.14 despite the rough performance and he should remain one of manager Aaron Boone's most trusted relievers moving forward.--Tim Capurso
