4 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson went 1-for-3 with a walk, two RBI, two runs scored, and his 15th homer of the season in a win over the Rockies on Saturday. It feels like cheating to let Olson play in Coors Field, as the big first baseman has been on fire lately and has had a field day in baseball's best hitting environment. Olson has 10 hits in his last five games with five hits going for extra bases. He's hitting the ball as hard as anyone in baseball as his average exit velocity, max exit velocity, and xwOBA all rank in the top-fifth percentile among qualified hitters. Leave Olson locked into lineups for one more game in Colorado before more good matchups at home against Arizona starting on Tuesday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
