3 years agoWashington Nationals right-hander Austin Voth exited Sunday's game early after being hit in the face by Vince Velasquez while attempting to bunt. Voth was taking Stephen Strasburg's spot in the rotation after the latter was placed on the injured list with a neck strain. Velasquez was wild in this outing as he hit Victor Robles with a pitch before hitting Voth. The good news is that Voth was able to walk off on his own after the scary play. He had worked a pair of scoreless innings with two strikeouts before exiting. The team should provide an update on him following the game's conclusion.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
