3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez picked up an RBI and a run for his club during Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Astros. He finished the game going 1-for-4 with a single and two strikeouts, as he now sports a solid .306/.362/.488 slash line through 41 games. Hernandez has hit to a higher than expected batting average this season since he's chopped his K-rate down to a career-low 25.9%, but he's fallen into a bit of a rut over the past week by striking out 11 times in six games. It's hard to envision Hernandez keeping such a high average the rest of the way, but his power output should continue to play batting cleanup in a formidable Jays lineup.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
