3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman went 6 2/3 innings pitched against the Padres on Sunday, allowing no earned runs and striking out seven in the Mets 6-2 win. Stroman walked four and allowed four hits. Despite struggling a bit with his command, Stroman persevered and picked up the win to improve his record to 5-4 on the season. His ERA fell to 2.41, to go with a 1.07 WHIP and a 59:17 K:BB over 71 IP and 12 starts. Stroman has been consistently solid so far in 2021 and has proven to be a valuable starting pitcher in all fantasy formats. Managers should keep Stroman active for his next start which should be slated for next Sunday at home against these same San Diego Padres.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
