Alec Mills Looks Good In Rehab Start
3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Alec Mills (back) threw 60 pitches during his most recent rehab start for Triple-A Iowa, logging six scoreless innings while striking out four batters. This is a step in the right direction for Mills, who has been out of the lineup since mid-May because of a lower back strain. He was eligible to return from the injured list a few days ago, so it appears a return to the big club is right around the corner.
