3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge reached base safely four times in Sunday's loss to the Boston Red Sox. Judge singled in the first inning and came around to score, collected another base hit, and later grounded into a fielder's choice, producing an RBI in the process. The 29-year-old also drew a pair of walks. Judge is slashing .295/.398/.540 wth 14 homers, 32 RBI, and 32 runs scored. One of the bigger changes he has made is swing at first-pitch strikes more often, in addition to posting the lowest whiff rate and strikeout rates of his career. The changes have turned Judge into a borderline .300 hitter, which seems very sustainable for the rest of the season.--Tim Capurso
