4 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Starling Marte kept his hot streak going on Tuesday, going 3-for-4 with three singles and two runs scored. He also stole his sixth base of the season. Marte missed 35 games with a fractured rib, but started the season off hot and hit the ground running as soon as he came back. He's hitting a stellar .341 with a 1.001 OPS and would easily be in the MVP conversation if he'd done this throughout the time he was recovering from his injury. He's clearly feeling no ill effects from his rib and should continue to rake while hitting at the top of the Marlins lineup.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
