3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Shane Bieber went six innings while allowing one earned run on five hits and two walks and striking out five in Tuesday night's 10-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals are a tougher team to strike out so there is no reason to be down on him for striking out just five here. He has been solid as expected in 2021 and will carry a 2.96 ERA with 122 strikeouts across 85 innings pitched into his start Sunday against the Seattle Mariners.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
