3 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (knee) will rejoin the lineup for Wednesday's game against the New York Yankees. Cruz missed each of the last two contests with a stiff knee and is still not considered 100 percent, though he'll be back, presumably slotted in as the number-three hitter in the Twins' order. The veteran slugger hasn't homered since May 19, though he does have two extra-base hits and a .385 batting average in 13 June at-bats.--Tim Capurso
