3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Alek Manoah allowed two runs (one earned) over five frames versus the White Sox on Wednesday, settling for a no-decision. He gave up four hits and two walks while striking out four in the 90-pitch effort as he now holds a 3.14 ERA and 1.19 WHIP through his first three starts. Manoah wasn't the most efficient in tonight's outing with his pitch count piling up early, but he's shown enough on the mound to give reason for managers to keep starting him in fantasy with his high ceiling. The 23-year-old right-hander will take the hill versus a Red Sox team that's slumped a bit offensively in his next scheduled contest on Monday.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
