3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI in Wednesday's 9-6 win over the Minnesota Twins. Gardner drove in a run for the second straight game on an RBI double in the third inning. Each of Gardner's batted balls registered exit velocities of 90 MPH or greater in his best performance of the season at the dish. Despite the strong effort, Gardner's batting average still stands at .211, along with an underwhelming .599 OPS, making him an avoidable fantasy asset.--Tim Capurso
